About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our Foodbank originated from the church’s desire to serve it’s local community. St Andrew’s Community Network began life as a family support network in 2004. Identifying a need in the local community for help with food, the Network first opened a Foodbank in 2012. Continuing to respond to need across the north of Liverpool, we have grown to the point where we now have 11 distribution centres and feed 15,000+ local people a year.
